Te Arai Point in Northland is an exposed beach break that has reliable surf Offshore winds are from the west southwest. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the northeast. The beach break provides left and right handers. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Sharks may be a hazard at this break.
